Whose Job Sucked More: Allen's Flacks', or Kerry's?

Johnkerrysoccer_1 After John Kerry's "botched joke" and George Allen's fight club, Heard on the Hill wonders, "Whose job sucked more [on Tuesday]: that of Allen’s press staff, or Kerry’s?"

  • GOP spinmeister Terry Holt: "Team Allen might not be able to block, but at least they didn’t throw an interception for a touchdown."
  • "Senate Democratic leadership staffer": "John Kerry’s a moron, but he’s not running for anything [in ’06]. And there’s no way he’d lose his Senate seat."
  • Kerry spokesguy David Wade:  "Any day working for George Allen is worse because, um, you work for George Allen. Fortunately, no one will be working for him after Nov. 7. John Kerry is a tough son of a bitch and I’d follow him anywhere. He was right about Vietnam and he’s right about Iraq. That’s more honor than George Felix Allen will ever have."
