People: Updates on the Hill, '08 campaigns

Jason Klindt has returned as Communications Director for Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO) after serving as Communications Director for the Senate re-election campaign of Senator Conrad Burns (R-MT). Klindt also worked for failed Kansas City Mayoral candidate Becky Nace. He is working part-time out of the Liberty, MO office until April 1 when he becomes full-time. (PF tipster)

Gerry Fritz has been hired as Communications Director for Associated Builders and Contractors. Fritz was previously Communications Director for former Rep. Katherine Harris (R-FL) from 2003-2007. (CQ)

Elliott Bundy, formerly Communications Director for the failed Mike McGavick Senate campaign in Washington state, has been hired as a Regional Press Secretary for Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign. Bundy previously flacked for Lisa Murkowski's Senate campaign and then for her in the Senate and also worked for Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK). (PF tipster)

Summer Johnson is joining the RNC as a Regional Press Secretary under Lisa Miller, the RNC Communications Director. Johnson was Press Secretary to Rep. Steve King (R-IA) and is an Arizona native. (PF tipster)

Chuck Harper, previously in the press office of former Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN), has been hired as Deputy Press Secretary for Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN). Corker's Press Secretary is Laura Lefler, who was previously Press Secretary for Sen. Lamar Alexander before leaving to work on Corker's Senate campaign in Tennessee. (PF tipster)

John Goodwin, formerly Communications Director for narrowly-defeated Rep. Rob Simmons (R-CT), has started working as Communications Director for freshman Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL), who won the Congressional seat of retiring member Henry Hyde. Goodwin, a native of Rhode Island, previously was Division Coordinator for Government and Public Affairs at the National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association. (PF tipster)
