Colburn is a New PIC Spokesperson

Brent Colburn recently joined the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) as a spokesperson. Before joining PIC, he worked for the Obama campaign as the communications director in Michigan and a communications advisor in Virginia. He is also a veteran of Al Gore and Howard Dean's presidential campaigns, worked at the DNC during John Kerry's presidential campaign and was Sen. Debbie Stabenow's (D-Mich.) communications director. Blain K. Rethmeier is currently the Senior Vice President for Public Affairs for the American Insurance Association (AIA). Rethmeier joined AIA from the White House where he served as Special Assistant to the President for Communications and directed communications for the National Economic Council and Homeland Security Council. Prior to joining the White House, Rethmeier served as Press Secretary for the Senate Judiciary Committee.
