Former GOP Convention Flack Burgos Hired at NRCC

Joanna Burgos has been named Western Regional Press Secretary at the NRCC, with a focus on Spanish-language media. Burgos, who is fluent in Spanish, finished up the 2008 cycle as the Communications Director for the Nevada Republican Party. Prior to that gig, Burgos was the Press Secretary for the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN and a communications aide for the presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA).
