Long, Griffin, and Dennison Launch Sulgrave Partners

Logo Mike Long, Taylor Griffin, and Jack Dennison have launched Sulgrave Partners LLC, a consulting firm offering strategic communications, business advisory, and turnaround management services.  Sulgave Partners will be headquartered in Washington, DC.

Mike Long
As CEO of three public companies, Mike has developed a reputation as a problem solver. He led The Continuum Company's growth from a small software company to the world's largest financial services software provider. He built WebMD into the dominant internet health care player and he revived Homestore, Inc., a company that was plagued by more than $4 billion in lawsuits and hemorrhaging tens of millions of dollar a quarter, rebranding the company as Move, Inc. and returning it to profitability.
 
Taylor Griffin
Taylor is a communications strategist with extensive experience dealing with difficult communications problems in the government, private sector, and Presidential politics. He has served in senior communications roles at the Treasury Department, the White House, and several Presidential campaigns. He has also represented financial services CEOs in his role as Senior Vice President for Communications at the Financial Services Forum.
 
Jack Dennison
Jack brings proven operational expertise and analytical skills to Sulgrave Partners. He served as general counsel at The Continuum Company and WebMD and managed the operational turnaround at Move, Inc. as its chief operating officer.  Most recently, he founded FunnelBrain LLC, an innovative online learning company.

    Blain K. Rethmeier - Contributor
    Blain K. Rethmeier is currently the Senior Vice President for Public Affairs for the American Insurance Association (AIA). Rethmeier joined AIA from the White House where he served as Special Assistant to the President for Communications and directed communications for the National Economic Council and Homeland Security Council. Prior to joining the White House, Rethmeier served as Press Secretary for the Senate Judiciary Committee.
