With Keeley Deploying to Kandahar, Sen. Barrasso Hires Lawrimore as Communications Director

Emily Lawrimore Emily Lawrimore has been named the new Communications Director for U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY).  She is replacing Greg Keeley, who is deploying to Kandahar, Afghanistan on December 23 as a U.S. Navy Psychological Warfare Officer.  Keeley, a native of Perth, Australia who became an American citizen in 2008, is currently a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and served as Communications Director for Sen. Barrasso for the last two years.  Lawrimore has previously served as an Assistant Press Secretary in the George W. Bush White House, as Press Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce, as Communications Director for U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC), and most recently as Communications Director of the House Natural Resources Committee. (PF reporting)
