Crisis Vets Corallo & Comstock Team Up To Help Ward Off Dem Investigations

Barbaracomstock_1Markcorallo_1 Roll Call reports that "with Hurricane Subpoena bearing down on Capitol Hill, veteran GOP spin masters Mark Corallo and Barbara Comstock (right) are hitching their wagons to help Republicans fight the storm and — well, sure — rake in some dough."

The duo will open crisis management firm Corallo Comstock, Inc. on January 1, "just in time for subpoena season," Corallo says.  They’ll be doing crisis management, communications strategy, strategic consulting, government relations, Roll Call says.

They've both flacked for House Govt Reform Committee Chair Dan Burton and former AG John Ashcroft.  In the private sector, Comstock has repped Tom DeLay, Jerry Lewis and Scooter Libby during their ethics scandals, while Corallo has flacked for Karl Rove, eBay and former Hewlett-Packard director Tom Perkins. Comstock will continue to consult for Mitt Romney's '08 effort.
