Tuesday People: RNC Taps Former Hastert Flack

  • Lisa Camooso Miller is the new comms director at the RNC, replacing Brian Jones (who departed for McCain '08).  Miller previously served in Speaker Dennis Hastert's press shop and the Commerce Department public affairs office (Roll Call)
  • Vincent Morris, communications director for outgoing DC mayor Anthony Williams and a former New York Post reporter "joined [Sen. John] Kerry's staff yesterday," presumably in a spokesman role (Boston Globe)
  • Joe Pouliot, who formerly handled press for the House Science Committee, will become a vice president for the CJR Group (TechDaily)
  • Terry Lane is the new Communications Manager at the Telecommunications Industry Association.  He previously was deputy communications director for the House Energy and Commerce Committee and a reporter for Communications Daily (TechDaily)
