Flacks Feel Scandals' Pressure, Too

Stevens When your boss comes under fire, flacks get their share of heat too ... just ask Aaron Saunders, Sen. Ted Steven's pressguy. Daniel Libit at Politico writes that last week, after having his boss being indicted on seven corruption counts, Saunders himself said it can be trying times. "This has been going on now for well over a year. But at the end of the day, I keep coming back to the same point, which is I firmly believe in the senator, I believe he's an honorable guy and I love him. At that's what allows me to keep plowing ahead." We here at PF don't know much about love, but we can agree ... certainly a trying time. (Politico.com)
