He also covered President Bush throughout his two terms in office. In addition, Wolffe is an NBC political analyst. He has provided political commentary on several MSNBC programs, Meet The Press and TODAY. Before his exclusive contract with NBC, he previously appeared on CNN and Fox News, as well as international media, including the BBC.
Prior to his work at Newsweek, Wolffe was deputy bureau chief and U.S. diplomatic correspondent in Washington, D.C., for the Financial Times. His earlier work included extensive coverage of the Microsoft antitrust trial. His work on regulatory and business issues in Washington included covering Treasury, the Federal Trade Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Wolffe is the author of several books. His new book about President Obama's campaign, entitled Renegade, will be released later this year. (PF Tipster)
