Gibraltar Associates Hires James Davis

James Davis James Davis has joined Gibraltar Associates as manager of digital media, providing online communications counsel to clients and managing the execution of new media initiatives.  He will also lead Gibraltar’s Web-based public affairs initiatives, based in Gibraltar’s Washington, D.C., offices.  Before joining Gibraltar, Mr. Davis ran his own consulting practice, which helped corporate clients take advantage of advocacy, branding and marketing opportunities in the social media sphere.  Previously, Mr. Davis served as deputy director of media affairs at the Republican National Committee; as associate director of communications at the Republican National Convention in Minnesota, where he helped form strategic new media partnerships with Microsoft, Google/YouTube, Campaign Solutions and Ustream.TV; and in the office the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense Public Affairs from 2006 to 2008.
