Hack & Flack Gathering - This Thursday

Washington's Original Hack & Flack Gathering Group is meeting this Thursday, April 21 from 6-10 p.m. at the Fire & Sage Restaurant. Here are the deets:

Who:    News breakers and makers

What:   Networking/catching-up gathering for Hacks (reporters) and Flacks (public affairs types). 

Where: Fire & Sage lounge, private room, behind the bar (inside the Marriott Hotel), 775 12th Street, NW, Washington, DC (corners of 12th and H Streets, NW).

  • Do not RSVP more than once, please
  • This and all the Hack & Flack events during the past several years are off-the-record gatherings to catch-up, socialize and meet others in the business.

    Blain K. Rethmeier is currently the Senior Vice President for Public Affairs for the American Insurance Association (AIA). Rethmeier joined AIA from the White House where he served as Special Assistant to the President for Communications and directed communications for the National Economic Council and Homeland Security Council. Prior to joining the White House, Rethmeier served as Press Secretary for the Senate Judiciary Committee.
