JOB OF THE WEEK: Democratic U.S. Senator, Communications Director

Democratic U.S. Senator is looking for a Communications Director to manage national and in-state communications operations. The position is based in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven success in designing and implementing strategic communications plans, maintaining strong relationships with reporters, producing high quality written materials, and serving as an on-the-record spokesperson.

The ability to manage staff and integrate press operations with policy and political staff in a fast-moving work environment is imperative. This is a senior position. Applicants must have strong references who will attest to prior success as a communications director in legislative and governmental offices.
