Longtime Archdiocese of Washington Flack Gibbs is Leaving to Hang Own Shingle

After more than 12 years as Executive Director of Communications for the Archdiocese of Washington, Susan Gibbs is leaving to start her own business, Gibbs MediaWorks, handling media and crisis strategy and training, primarily with Catholic and other non-profit organizations. Gibbs announced that her first client is the Archdiocese of Washington so she will continue to be involved with different projects for the Diocese while also continuing to handle media requests for Cardinal McCarrick. Her last day at the Archdiocese was Friday, January 14. The new media contact for the Archdiocese of Washington is Chieko Noguchi, acting Director of Communications. (PF tipster)
